What we never store

Your child's name, date of birth, exact age, gender, photograph, current school or nursery, and your exact home address. None of these are collected, and there is nowhere in the data model to put them.

What we do store

• Your email address and account record.
• A parent-chosen label for each profile (for example "Eldest"); please do not use a name.
• An age band, attribute slider values, and structured additional-needs categories.
• A scrubbed version of your written description. The text you submit is checked in your browser and again on our server, where names, dates and places are replaced before anything is written. The raw text is never persisted.
• The outward part of your postcode only, for example "RG4". The full postcode is used in memory to find nearby schools and is then discarded.
• Your weightings, your shortlist, and the reports generated from them.

Lawful bases

We process your account and profile data to provide the service you have contracted for. Where we use aggregate, privacy-friendly product analytics, our lawful basis is legitimate interest and it only runs if you accept it on the cookie banner. Your rights

You can access, export, correct or delete your data at any time. Deleting your account hard-deletes every profile, run and report associated with it. We retain only the billing records our payment processor is legally required to keep.
