SpotWise is a trading name of Life Pass Ltd (company number 17242126), registered at International House, 101 King's Cross Road, London, WC1X 9LP, United Kingdom.

The service

SpotWise compares schools using published open data and presents a ranked, weighted scorecard with a written rationale. The ranking reflects the priorities you set. Different priorities produce a different ranking; that is the point of the tool.

What this is not

SpotWise does not give admissions, educational or legal advice, does not predict whether your child will be offered a place, and makes no guarantee about any school's future performance. It is not affiliated with the Department for Education, Ofsted, or any local authority.

Accuracy

Data is taken from official published sources and normalised. Sources are updated on annual cycles and can contain errors or gaps; each school record carries a vintage date. Always verify anything decisive with the school and your local authority.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time and retain access until the end of the paid period. Additional child profiles are charged at 20% of your base plan and prorated by our payment processor when added or removed.

Acceptable use

Do not submit personal data about a child. Do not scrape, resell or redistribute the compiled scorecards or the underlying normalised dataset.

Liability

The service is provided on an "as is" basis. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees you have paid in the twelve months preceding a claim.
